Larry Powell

Brother Powell directs missionary activities in United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands.  He began his mission work in 1967 and has been involved in pastoring and church planting for forty years. He and his wife Wanda were instrumental in planting a mission church and Christian school in St. Croix, Virgin Islands, and planted Free Will Baptist churches in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, and McAllen, Texas respectively.  They have three children, son  Jonathon (deceased) and wife Cindy, son Mark and wife Susan, and daughter Paige and husband Rod Goodman.  They also have six grandchildren.

David Crowe

Brother Crowe's burden is to help our churches, pastors, and people. Among his many gifts are those of preaching, encouraging, challenging, and inspiring those around him. Brother David enjoys working with the Free Will Baptist pastors and churches all across our denomination. He strives to encourage God's servants who may be weary or discouraged. It is his desire is to do whatever is necessary to help our pastors succeed in the task that God has called them to do. David and wife, Kathey, are laboring together in the Lord's work. They have two children, daughter Nicole and husband Shiloh Hackett, and son Ryan and daughter-in-law Kelly. They also have two grandsons, Ayden and Camden Hackett.

Richard Atwood

Director of Missionary Assistance

Brother Richard Atwood works primarily with the missionaries on a one-to-one basis. He is responsible for training, encouragement, and helping FWB church planters. He also speaks in revivals, mission conferences, seminars, and marriage retreats around the country. Richard and Sandy have four children, Jared (married to Stefanie), Nathan (married to Rachel), Justin, and Rachel.  To view Richard's blog, click here.

Teresa Womack

Administrative Assistant to the Director of Missionary Assistance

Teresa processes faith promise commitments for home missionaries and keeps track of missionaries on itinerant. She works with mission conference coordinators in planning and scheduling of conferences. Teresa is responsible for shipping Home Missions literature to missionaries, churches, and women's groups. She aids the missionaries in accessing the WNAC Provision Closet. She also maintains and updates the Home Missions website. She and her husband David live in Hendersonville and have three daughters, Tera, Tayla and husband Josh Roy - grandson, Trevor, and Tana.

Kathy Brown

Kathy has been with Home Missions for more than 20 years in addition to previous years devoted to denominational work. She is responsible for receipting 4.8 million dollars each year, paying all bills, pay­roll and maintaining all missionary accounts. She is the daughter of the late Dr. Roger C. Reeds, Retired General Director of Randall House Publications. Kathy and her husband, Billy Brown, have two children, Daniel and wife Jaclyn, grandson - Jasper, and Jonathan and wife Christy.

Sue Hayes

Administrative Assistant to the General Director

Sue stays quite busy as receptionist and handling correspondence, preparing reports and portfolios for the Home Missions Board, and processing applications and reference forms for missionary candidates. Sue also works as Administrative Assistant for the Church Extension Loan Fund, maintaining all investment accounts, figuring interest on accounts, receipting all income, producing monthly statements for loan accounts and investments, handling accounts payable and generating monthly reports. She has been with Home Missions for a number of years and has been involved in denominational work with Master's Men, WNAC, and Randall House. Sue and husband, Mike, have two children, Angela and Rachael.

Ida Lewis

Ida is involved in the planning and coordination of special projects such as the Mission North America Offering, the annual emphasis for the Home Missions Department. She maintains the Home Missions map, directory, missionary newsletters, prayer cards, and news releases. Ida is responsible for the editing of items published through the Home Missions Department including promotional materials, brochures, booklets, and any materials needed by the missionaries. She is also the editor for the contributions from the Home Missions Department to ONE Magazine, the combined denominational magazine featuring items of news and articles from the major Free Will Baptist national agencies. Ida is in her 20th year with the Home Missions Department. Prior to coming to Home Missions, she was involved in denominational work with Randall House Publications. Ida, and husband, Ray Lewis, General Director of the Board of Retirement and Insurance, have a daughter, Kelly, a son, Chris and wife Kelli, and two grandchildren, Sophie and Chason.
